Missy Foott

Fueled by a passion to grow business through integrity and meticulous attention to detail, Missy Foot is the current President of American Honey.  

In her current role, Foott oversees the business with a focus on deploying a comprehensive sales strategy and ensuring the implementation of the organization’s quality assurance program. With extensive corporate supply chain and practical honey industry experience, Foott brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position.  Most recently serving as the Vice President of Quality & Sales for American Honey, Foott has spent the past 15+ years honing her skills in various internal positions. She joined the organization in 2008 as a Sales Manager and was later promoted to Director of Sales. In her time with the organization, she has played a key role in the development and implementation of strategic business plans that led to substantial growth in the marketplace. Foott manages all client relations which involves contract negotiation, maintenance and industry networking.  She is a dedicated student of global food safety standards and an ardent supporter of the strict quality testing necessary to ensure her organization’s commitment to transparency and quality control.

Prior to her time with American Honey, Foott worked for Integrated Marketing Services where she helped develop marketing promotions for various food brands to help promote the brand at the retail level. Foott also has experience in business development that she gained while working for a specialty engineering and construction company, Pacific Aquascape, Inc., as a Business Development Manager.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from Vanguard University and comes by her enthusiasm for integrity naturally working alongside her father whom she describes as diligent and resolute.

She is a proud Californian, born and raised in the Imperial Valley, and currently resides in San Diego with her husband Brian and two children Ethan and Madison. When she has time away from the office she pursues other passions such as time with family and friends and listening to live music.
